Silhouette InstaLift™ at Radiance Skin Therapy
Silhouette Instalift is designed to contour the face by lifting the deeper layers of skin to improve jowls and the appearance of skin laxity in the midface. This procedure may also be used to lift the forehead and contour the neck.
This is a non-surgical, minimally invasive facelift that takes forty-five minutes to perform right in our office. The results are instant and long-lasting (up to two years or more) and will continue to improve over time. It is not comparable to a surgical facelift; it is, however, ideal for most men and women desiring to combat the signs of an aging appearance.
What is a Silhouette InstaLift?
Silhouette InstaLift was introduced to US this summer and has been performed in Europe for the past few years. It is made of poly-l-lactic acid, the same material as Sculptra (the injectable collagen stimulator). Both the Instalift suture and its proprietary “knotted design” and bidirectional cones will slowly dissolve and create collagen stimulation. This procedure provides a lifted (up to a two centimeter lift), more youthful appearance, along with healthier tissue and a naturally enhanced glow.
How is Silhouette InstaLift different from a traditional threadlift?
Specially formulated dissolvable sutures with bidirectional cones are used to mechanically fix deep tissue until collagen production takes place to naturally replace them. The entire procedure takes 45 minutes without incisions or anesthesia.
Who is a candidate for the Silhouette InstaLift?
The Silhouette Instalift is for patients who want to address volume loss as well as skin laxity or might border on wanting or needing a surgical facelift. Women and men from their thirties to their seventies may be ideal candidates for this procedure.
Is there downtime with Silhouette Instalift?
Another major benefit of the Silhouette non-surgical facelift is the lack of any major downtime. Following the procedure you may be swollen, red, or bruised. These side effects are common and should resolve on their own within a few days or up to a few weeks in rare cases. Bruising can always occur, but there are steps you can take to help minimize the risks, including avoiding alcohol and blood thinners for a week before the procedure.
