How Does ThermiVa® Vaginal Rejuvenation Improve Women’s Health?
Collagen is a protein vital to firm, elastic tissue. Unfortunately, it diminishes over time in the skin and other sensitive areas. Given that collagen also creates a framework for moisture-loving hyaluronic acid molecules, its loss has an even greater impact—especially when it comes to women’s health. What Is a ThermiVa® Treatment Session Like?
Your experience begins with a private women’s health consultation with one of our aesthetic RNs, who will review your concerns and answer any questions that you have.
Please wear comfortable clothing to the appointment. You can expect each treatment in the series to take an hour or less, during which ultrasound gel will be applied to the targeted tissues to improve comfort as the wand-like device passes over them. Some patients have likened the sensation to getting a warm stone massage.
No downtime is needed, and there should be no discomfort afterward. Women are free to resume all typical activities—including intimate ones!—right away.
For ideal results, the Radiance team recommends three treatments spaced approximately one month apart.
What Results Can Be Expected?
Many patients notice improvements within a day or two of their first treatment, while others need a week or two to experience a difference. Results continue to improve over several weeks following this women’s health treatment as the body produces new collagen in the vaginal tissues. Results may vary from patient to patient.
Everyone is a little different, but most patients experience their desired benefit with ThermiVa® for up to one year. A follow-up treatment is recommended annually to help maintain the results.
