Injectable Fillers at Radiance Skin Therapy & Laser Center in Madison, WI
A youthful look depends on having the right amount of facial balance. As we age, we naturally lose fat, muscle and even bone, in our face. That means gravity will take effect and we may start noticing wrinkles, lines, hollowness or jowls. Injectable Fillers are used to maintain or correct that volume loss and help restore a natural look.
Watch as Radiance owner Anne Pientka discusses mid-face volume loss on the CW talk show Girl Talk!

Information About Radiance Injectables
Juvederm® is an injectable filler which can improve the appearance of lines, facial wrinkles, folds, and acne scars, enhance the lips, and contour facial features like the chin and cheeks. Juvederm® is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in all species which is highly attracted to water and has the ability to bind to it. The results are very natural and long-lasting, with the effect typically remaining for six to twelve months. After receiving treatment, most people have very little downtime and are quickly able to return to normal activity.
Restylane® was the first dermal filler to be approved, back in December of 2003. Restylane® is a hyaluronic acid that is used to treat facial wrinkles, folds, and enhance lips, plus it will volumize and contour many areas of the face. The results are typically last six months or longer, and there is only minimal downtime when you use a light cover-up.
Juvederm Volbella® was FDA approved in June 2016 for lip augmentation. Juvederm Volbella® is used to increase lip fullness as well as soften the appearance of lines around the mouth. Due to its Vycross® technology, Juvederm Volbella® has little to no swelling and with full correction, a twelve month longevity.
Restylane® Refyne™ A next-generation hyaluronic dermal filler designed to help support your skin while keeping you looking like you. Great for the Nasal Labial Folds or Marionette Lines as well as fine lines around the mouth. The unique technology of gel in Restylane Refyne also supports natural expression so when you smile or move the Refyne naturally moves with you.
Juvederm Vollure™XC is the newest addition to the Juvederm family of fillers. It was FDA-approved in March of 2017 for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm Vollure™XC is especially effective for the Nasal Labial Folds (that parenthesis around the mouth area). Results can last up to eighteen months with full correction.
Restylane® Defyne™ Another next-generation hyaluronic filler designed to help support your skin. Great for correcting deeper wrinkles of the Nasal Labial Folds (run from corner of nose down to the corner of the mouth) or Marionette Lines (run from corner of the mouth down the the chin). The unique cross-linking technology in Restylane Defyne will also support natural expression so when you smile or move the Refyne naturally moves with you.
Juvederm Voluma® has been FDA approved since October of 2013. It is the first and only filler to temporarily correct age-related volume loss in the cheek area. It helps give a more youthful appearance to the face, with natural-looking, long-lasting results. The success of this product stems from the VY-cross technology that results in a smooth gel and contributes to the lift capacity as well as the duration of the product. Juvederm Voluma® is a gel that contains a modified form of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural complex sugar that occurs within the body, making it a safe and effective filler. Results can last up to two years with full correction.
Restylane Lyft®, formerly known as Perlane®, is a sister product to Restylane®. The difference between Restylane Lyft and Restylane is simply the size of the particle. Restylane Lyft® contains larger particles of hyaluronic acid, which makes it ideal for filling deeper lines and wrinkles. Restylane Lyft® will last six months or longer and, like its sister product, has minimal downtime.
Sculptra Aesthetic® is a new type of facial injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid, which helps to replace lost collagen. It helps correct the shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds that tend to appear with aging. The main ingredient is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used by physicians for decades.
