What is Legend Pro™?
Legend Pro™ skin rejuvenation technology is effective because it targets the two main, underlying causes of skin aging: collagen loss and damaged cells.
Collagen and elastin are two of the most abundant proteins in the skin, working together to keep it strong and elastic. As we get older, our body creates less collagen and elastin—and the existing proteins also break down more quickly because of stressors in the environment, like sunlight and air pollution. As a result, depressions and wrinkles form on the skin, which begins to sag in certain areas, such as the cheeks, lower jaw, and neck.
The TriPollar® RF applicators used for Legend Pro™ safely and effectively deliver controlled heating to the deeper layers of the skin. This improves the structure of the existing elastin and collagen fibers.
The super thin VoluDerm™ electrodes on the device create tiny channels, triggering the skin to repair itself.
Additionally, TriFractional™ technology is used for pinpoint ablation (removing cells from the surface) and RF heating in the epidermal layer (prompting new collagen and elastin production).
As a result, the skin becomes firmer, smoother, and younger looking. Each of the three modalities lasts roughly 15 to 20 minutes per session for a treatment that takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
