How Does Botox® Cosmetic Work
There are multiple reasons or factors that cause wrinkling. A common one is repeated muscle contractions. This can be from frowning or concentrating, squinting, or raising our eyebrows and can over time cause lines and wrinkles to form. Botox is injected into the muscle in a calculated quantity and with precise location to target those repetitive movements and relax or weaken the muscle which will allow for those lines and wrinkles smooth out and look better.
How Does Botox® Cosmetic Work
After listening to your concerns/goals and answering all of your questions, one of our highly trained Registered Nurses will evaluate and determine the best treatment plan. After discussing all of your options, if you are interested in moving forward, treatment can be performed the same day as your consultation. The actual treatment is straight forward and fairly quick. Future appointments can be performed during a lunch time break. We always welcome the opportunity to discuss other treatment areas during future appointments as well. There is minimal to no downtime after the procedure. There are a few restrictions for your safety including no exercise, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas for 24 hours. We also recommend no massages for 2 weeks until the product has reached it’s full effect. A follow-up appointment is encouraged 2-3 weeks post your Botox appointment.

They are approved for areas such as frown lines, crows feet and upper forehead wrinkles but they are also safely and effectively used in other areas. Botox Cosmetic is great for treatment of excess sweating (or Hyperhydrosis) for example. We also love to use Botox Cosmetic, Dysport and Jeuveau for areas such as:
